Sean grew up in Eastpointe Michigan and
played baseball for De LaSalle high school where he earned first-team all-state
honors after hitting .425 with six HR's and 40 RBI and helped the team obtain
the state title. He also played for the Grosse Pointe Redbirds in the summer of
1999, coached by former Detroit Tiger Dave Bergman.
Since 2001, Sean has played at the University of Toledo for
the Rockets where he was the team captain in 2004. He also spent some time
playing for the St. Louis Cardinals.
